Ah! The sample is nice, Cons straight re-did the oldies Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway classic "The Closer I Get To You." The second I heard this I thought about Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan in Rush Hour 3 (Watch at 2:20).

This cut is the theme song for Rik Cordero’s Inside a Change, which debuts tomorrow night at the HBO Latino Film Festival in New York. I'm really excited for this project, we all know Cordero has really put in credible work on the music video tip so this is a big jump.

I wasn't the biggest fan of this record initially, but it grew on me. There is sooo much substance behind this song. I like the video, although it is not my favorite video directed by Rik Cordero.

Damn...Asher Roth blew up faast, and I can't be mad at him cause I like the dude. I can't wait to see him and Cordero collab for a music video, they seem like their on the same wavelength.
