As mentioned before, the Hangover Tour made its way through the nation's capitol earlier this month. We got to chop it up with Mr. Polo Dolo, Charles Misodi Njapa, also known as 88-Keys. While he may be new as a performing artist, he is no rookie to the hip hop industry, having worked over the years with the likes of Black Star, Scarface, Kanye West, Beanie Sigel, Musiq, Pharcyde, you name it! His production is well known, and the industry's stamp of approval runs deep, spanning over a decade. In this exclusive interview with 88-Keys, we spoke with the brain behind The Death of Adam, as he discusses his sound and influences, explains the concept behind Adam's identity, elaborates on his relationship with Kanye, among many other topics. Enjoy!

Live Performance: Asher Roth Footage, Washington, DC - 9:30 Club - Great Hangover Tour
The Hangover tour - featuring 88-Keys, Bobby Ray, Asher Roth, and Kid Cudi - blessed the 9:30 Club on August 5th, in Washington, DC. What better location to end the great hangover than at the nation's capitol. In this footage, you can catch Asher performing "Lark on My Go-Kart", "Cannon Freestyle", "Blunt Cruisin'", and "La Di Da", as well as his paying a special tribute to the late Sean Taylor.

We'd love to give a special shoutout to our homie and affiliate DDotOmen.Com for supporting and helping us in preparation of this footage. Make sure to check out that site and is coverage of the Hangover Tour in DC: http://vimeo.com/user1180584.

Movies: 500 Days of Summer
Saw this movie yesterday with the girl. Had to say it did not disappoint. If you are looking for a chill movie that is real...check it. The movie is brutally honest about the boundaries and ambiguities about relationships, heartbreak, and friendships. Not to mention it is really artistically done as well as it just pours out with creativity and experimentation with different kinds of cinematography. Finally, it was pretty dope that they played some The Smiths (Shout to Theophilus London - big Smiths Fan)
On a sidebar, when I was watching this movie this 88-Keys track popped into my head from time to time.
Music Video: 88 Keys feat. Shitake Monkey – The Friend Zone
One of the best tracks of "Death of Adam." Hilarious vid, can't watch wait to catch him, Asher, Bobby Ray, and Kid Cudi when they come to the 9:30 club.

Video: 88 Keys ft. Kanye West - "Stay Up (Viagra)"
This video had me rollin'. Kanye is WAY too good at playing an old dude. I think it was his facial expressions (1:28) that cracked me up the most. Check it out..."Now y'all can have sexy time, it's nice".
Video: 88-Keys - True Feelings
Latest from his mixtape, which dropped awhile back... so be sure to check out 88-Keys's latest project, The Death of Adam!
