It's very hard to find something created by Google very inconvenient or not up to the times. Google continually makes strides in the technology world, so it comes as no surprise that Google Chrome is set to be your new default browser really soon!
The beta version just dropped a couple of days ago, and I cannot stop messing around with the new features and tweaks - from easy access to websites as you type URLs to incredible ways to go back to previous pages. Check it out for yourself!!
Of course, there are some drawbacks, not least important of which is the legal agreement that comes with this toy: apparently, Google has some interesting lawyers. They concocted a way to include the following in the contract, which is sure to raise brows: [A]ny "content" you "submit, post or display" using the service -- whether you own its copyright or not -- gives Google a "perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute" it. That just doesn't seem right! Google, on the other hand, contends that this is not as broad as the clause seems to be. I suppose that with great toys come great consequences.
