One of my favorite blogs right now is Hip-Hop is Read, which occasionally provides its readers with the original samples used by modern-day producers in their hip hop and R&B albums. However, a controversy - and more accurately, a debate - has been brewing between such "sample providers" such as Hip Hop is Read, on the one hand, and producers/artists who argue that by providing such samples, these sites take away from the mystery of finding such exclusive samples, on the other hand.
What I really enjoy about this blog is that it's willing to educate the readers (even in a non-biased fashion) about this debate and let its readers comment on the two sides. For more information on this debate, check out the following blog post.
