Let's peruse the essentials of cool ...
Check out XV's dope interview with Crack Distributor's Radio when he was in NY back a couple of weeks ago. It's interesting to hear what he has to say about 40 Days/40 Nights and his new mixtape "Everybody's Nobody."
Kickdrums got an amazing sound...be sure to check it out.
... it's been a long time coming ...
The homie Propayne shot this gem over to us!

The homie Andre B. over at ABB Videos shot this over to us; it's really interesting to see who the upcoming artists are in this area. Def dope footage!
Shoutout to the homie Lyriciss for the move he's making; it's only a matter of time ...
Fresh interview by Hardknock.tv with Wale, be sure to catch him at 930 Club with Tabi and XO tomorrow night.
Props to the people over at Dope Couture. Another stylin tee, I may hafta get one. Big fan of Pablo.
Nero, TreaZon, & J. Rocwell spittin' over Pete Rock and CL Smooth's "Lot's of Lovin'". Dope!
Mark this as the first joint off Alive & Vibrant: Propaganda.
What exactly is that you ask? Well Nero and I [illroots] are re-releasing A&V and calling it Relive The Moment with plans to add a few new tracks, re-do a couple, lose a couple and give the whole project a face lift.

Some of that new new.
The homie D. Dot sent this over to us - a pretty ill track, featuring his new group consisting of him and Kendall Elijah, The Freedom Rhymers.
The homie QuESt dropped off his latest.
Hip hop at its finest. The passion in his music always impresses me.
So, yea. I really don't care that I am about to turn 23; this shit still looks funny as hell to me. To this day, Toy Story remains to be one of my favorite animated movies. The trailer for the new one is pretty damn funny IMO. Check it out.
Although I say this about almost every song/video, this is my joint. Every since I was younger, my favorite line from this track was "No static, gotta an automatic//too much of anything makes you an addict". Don't ask my why. Let it marinate.
Behind every blog is a purpose, we hope. And so it is here, at Ill Vibes. There's no format, no organization, no agenda - simply a cornucopia of thoughts we hope to memorialize in this Internet medium. What common ground you may find is the interests shared among the administrators, four university students whose passions for music (especially the state of hip hop), art, travel, philosophy, comedy, dance, politics, pop culture, fashion, and - quite frankly - the good life have brought them together to share their essentials of cool. From reviewing the latest CD or introducing the world to the next incredible artist to documenting various travels or criticizing a latest concert, you'll find it all here and more! So enjoy, and definitely leave comments. Not only do we love to express ourselves, but one of our greatest traits lies in our listening to other people expressing themselves.
