Blu and Joell Ortiz are the two industry heads that I am messing with right now. Supposedly this is a verse that was recorded for GZA's "Pro Tools" album. So, I guess it ain't really a freestyle, but regardless this joint is pretty hot and socially conscious.
If you haven't heard of Blu, you have been heavily sleepin'. He's part of the XXL Freshmen class; at the same time, I still think he's probably the most underrated in that group.
Blu is definitely one of my favorite artists in the game right now. I spotted this joint over at herfection and immediately grabbed it. After listening to it, I will say that it definitely does not disappoint. I have heard a bunch of these cuts already, but there are some new/rare tracks on here that make it worth a download.
